Namaste

My name is Mary Reynolds

I am a yoga teacher working in Dublin 8 and surrounding areas, I have been fortunate to have learned many styles of yoga and meditation over the past 17 years and hope to share some of these with you.

Originally I come from Leitrim, lived in Kildare for many years and a mum to my 3 wonderful sons. I have worked in various roles from law to Facilities Management so  I understand the pressures of life and how difficult it can be to find time for oneself.

“Long breath long life …short breath short life”

I really enjoy  exploring breath and movement and where that can bring us physically and mentally. My classes aim at unifying body mind and spirit so we feel more balanced in our bodies and mind.  If you are reading this not sure if yoga is for you then trust me it is, because yoga is a way of life not just beautiful poses and it has something for everyone.

Yoga in Rialto

I like to have fun in my classes for people to feel free and open in our safe space, an escape from the day to day and so I use incense, mantra and music to bring the authentic rituals of yoga to our class.

My classes are built around a sense of belonging, each group becomes its own little tribe and this is what makes them special classes where we can be truly free and honest and open.

Yoga in my community

I work with people with special needs and have experience in Nursing Homes and in Community Settings and this is very rewarding and specialised work. In this setting I use a lot of training I received from my genuine Indian Teachers to help people in any way possible to connect with body mind and spirit. Aromatherapy oils, incense, peace chants, mantras are all valuable tools as is an open mind and a good sense of wonder and fun! Many of these people are challenged on a physical and mental level so the progress and work must be slow and joyful.
